"I am the spell"......What does this even mean?
After each birthday, I reflect over my life and the progress I've made thus far. With each recollection, I always end with gratitude and cliff notes on how to become better than I was....I know, very Virgo of me!
I recently attended a birthday gathering for a male friend of mine. I am identifying his sex for a reason, just follow me. There were many topics going around the table. Me being the only female at this birthday gathering, I saw this as an opportunity to collect data. Not in the sense of "spilling someone's dirty laundry" but data that converts into actual currency for women.
Ladies, when we develop from little girls into adult women, many of us stumble along the way. Most even becoming the shell of who we THINK we are but have yet to master. During these various conversations one thing stood out to me. That thing was the phrase, "I am the spell".
Being the spell has its esoteric origins however, even with this being the case; this phrase has social and psychological development at its base. I like to approach magick from both a spiritual perspective and a practical one. As we all should.
Being the spell, requires the developmentally arrested adult woman to analyze. Many women have a problem with being analytical, which is my super power(thank the gods). Women master being analytical of others but see it as biological warfare if used on themselves. Many people hate picking themselves apart as this is often seen as self-depreciation. When in actuality this is the key to becoming that which you seek!
Going back to the birthday gathering, I noticed that women were the topic of the entire discussion amongst men; per usual. Now these particular men were successful in their own right. They all have their various careers, families, etc. The key to innerstand my ladies is that no matter the level that you are at, you will always be seen as a resource of some kind to someone! Allow me to explain.
Women hold a lot of power but with this educational crisis and with it being considered social suicide to be self-aware; many women will never self-actualize because they focus on others vs. SELF. Women are a very valuable resource on this planet. Not just to become human incubators. Women are the blueprint and the conduit for the creation of many things. This is a fact.
Unfortunately, many women squander their matrilineal gifts in the pursuit of being agreeable, accepted and desired by men, society and the world as a whole. Eve knows her children; which isn't necessarily bad for MOST women.
Sex is often used as a means to an end for most. The women that were in question at this table were either settling and hated their lives, were so absorbed in the male gaze that they themselves couldn't see that the feminine is a natural magnet(diamonds, wealth, status-feminine), or they were just happy to be in this bitch(insert a pickmiesha). I even noticed the socially traditional, "I only address the male and not the woman" archetype at this round-table. This indeed was a fun time and a social experiment.
The key that was evading these ladies is the divine feminine embodiment! When we speak of the divine feminine, MOST think the color pink, soft-life, not using their brains or even being the top choice of men. This is beyond ignorant. To embody the divine feminine is to embody the entirety of who "she" is!
Take Ezili Freda for example, many women love her as she is the archetype of what most women "perceive" as what I mentioned above. When in actuality, she is a literal force to be reckoned with! Her sister/ counterpart Ezili Danto is the opposite and a REAL "stepper" by today's terms!
Becoming the spell requires one to take a deep dive into their own psyche, psycho-analyzing themselves and actually having data afterwards. When I was in my beginning stages of becoming me, I had an ex-friend tell me, "you shouldn't pick yourself apart like that, that's not good!" At the time we were having a conversation about me and how I was acting etc. I knew deep down that I wasn't the person I wanted to be, I was a cosplaying perpetrator! She knew this of course. She understood that if I actually became better, it would force her to become better as she was the actual source of a lot of what was wrong with the both of us. She was a master manipulator at the time and I was the "I'm just happy to be here" self-loathing type; unbeknownst to me! When the bar is in hell, people want you to stay there with them!
Becoming the spell also requires you to take action. Most people are lazy, let's call a thing, a thing! It requires actual footwork to develop a routine, change habits and alchemize your data into actual motion. Reading books is great. Hell, knowing how to read is even better....(going back to the current educational crisis we're experiencing). I don't care if you order every Robert Greene book off of Amazon today, being out in the world is what will separate you from the rest! Many people want the education, get said education and still fall for the stupidity in this world because they lack social intelligence. They fail at social cues and can't quite put their finger on it in the end. How Sway?!
I'll tell you how...their magick hasn't met practicality yet! To become that which you seek, one must get their hands dirty. Go outside and socialize, work that customer service job, be out in nature. Living in this world doesn't always mean BEING OF this world.
To become the spell you must make your life's mission to self-actualize or die trying! Even if you literally die trying, at least you were able to distinguish yourself from the pool of fine ass idiots! These people have no concept of what it means to have humanity, no concept of what it means to place one's own interests first before securing that of others.
Becoming the spell has a certain aura. You can enter into a room and people will naturally gravitate towards you. You have the ability to shift energy, attract attention and have sway amongst the crowd. Your aura is a baby magnet, literally kids love you. Animals love you. Strangers overshare their business even! You feel like a haven or even an escape to those that want one. However, this same spell can be used for good or evil, if you've read The Art of Seduction...
Finally, I wanted to express that I was invited to this outting personally by the man of the hour himself. I normally stay away from"sausage parties" as I'd call them but when I go....I end up enjoying myself because these guys are naturally hilarious but I always end the night with sweet savory data!😂☺️💓
Ladies, being the spell is more than makeup, hair and nails. It is a mastery, a game of wit and social intelligence that requires you to be selfish. It requires you to have an unwavering love and devotion to self. Know that by placing yourself on a pedestal will attract devotees and haters. All of which is currency!
