The Woo-Woo That Works!

The Woo-Woo That Works!

Manifesting a life worth living requires faith, delusions and a practical plan. One can hope to become all of the things they've ever dreamed of in this life before transitioning over. However, most either stay in a state of delusions without a plan, place their faith in a savior to front the workload or they are so practical that they forget that most things are out of their control.

Many of us have found ourselves in one of these scenarios at some point or another. Your purpose in this life is to live, learn and become. Most may never come to see this simple guidance as valid. I am not one of those "spiritual gurus" that will tell you that you are a Starseed from Galactica planet #7 and your purpose is to save the world....

I am however a woman that has lived long enough to understand the world around me to offer my humble advice. I believe that skepticism, practicality and a little woo-woo will see you through. Allow me to explain.

When a child is born, they have no concept of existence until they begin developing self-awareness, typically around 18 to 24 months of age, when they begin recognizing themselves as separate individuals. During this time, they will learn facial expressions, how to do different tasks and how to get you to accomplish it for them by crying.

As children, we all understood that although we may not have a clear understanding of the world in its entirety, we understood that things got done on our behalf. Whether it was by our parents or by things aligning themselves in our favor. There were always adults around to advocate for us. In most cases.

When we matured, we saw beyond the rose colored glasses and most were in a state of shock. The adult that we once waited on to save us has now passed on the torch. Those moments that seemed to "magically" work out in our favor was actually someone making choices on our behalf. Now we are apart of the "new" adults that have to handle business for yourselves or it won't get done.

After a while, we loose faith in the mystical side of life as we have come to realize that life is real and real choices have real consequences. We then seek something spiritual that brings back that feeling to make sense out of things, even the horrific acts that we see in the world now.

Most of us have heard the phrase, "it was god's will" in moments of heinous crimes or wrong doing. We weren't to question the will of god because his ways aren't our ways. (I've heard these phrases more times than I can count.) I always said to myself, how can we say his ways aren't our ways, have you met him in person?

The bottom line is, we had to learn how to adapt in a world that gives you rose colored glasses to wear until a certain age then they forcibly take them off for you and step on them. Welcome to the real world sugar! Afterwards, your only saving grace is to find god for yourself to cope in a world that has lied to you as a child. Eventually, you'll find your way and you may be one of the fortunate ones who find value in asking questions.

If you are like me, these questions always start with the word, "why"?

My fellow mystics, I implore you to not just seek understanding and wisdom within yourself but to also not loose sight of your why. Although, it would be beneficial to understand the world from a practical standpoint, especially when it comes to human behaviors; we love science here at Moonstone Energy. It would also be helpful to dig deep within yourselves and accept that everything doesn't always have a clear answer. Most things are unexplainable and that's okay.

My definition of woo-woo encapsulates the unexplainable, facts backed by truth and a sprinkle of skepticism. As humans, we find comfort in believing in something beyond our understanding(for most). This assists in rationalizing events and remaining in control of aspects of our lives( the 80/20 as I'd like to call it). However, there should be a balance in this that would counteract ignorance and bypassing. That is critical thinking.

Out of all the rituals and spell work that I have done over the years, the one thing that has made these manifestations hit was practicality. As a Virgo, I am naturally made this way. However, I miss out on the necessary "woo-woo" that is needed to remain hopeful when I feel like things are stagnant. No matter how much footwork I do in the physical, the spiritual aspect to the woo is letting thy will be done. Thy will being the Universes timing.

I will leave you with this. Out of all of the foot work that I have done to make Moonstone Energy happen, back office tasks, promos and the like. The spiritual aspect of this work is just as important. The latest additions to the shop such as the Gilded collections(Gilded Serpent Conjure Oils and Gilded Siren figures) offer more than just a name. These collections are a testament to the woo-woo that has kept me in this space of continuous creation and flow. I would be nowhere if it weren't for my practice.

Make sure that after reading this, you leave an offering for the Universe/spirit and thank them for the opportunity to remain delusional, practical and faithful through it all.
